Today the Arctic is one of the last ecologically clean sanctuaries on our planet; however, ecological balance in the Arctic is extremely vulnerable. Under extreme climatic conditions of the region the animal and vegetal life exist and balance their existence. As a result, any interference of man in these areas must be extremely cautious and well thought out as the consequences here are much more serious than elsewhere. Bearing this in mind, we see to it that our expeditions are arranged in a way that minimizes any disturbance to the wild life and fragile natural environment of the Arctic.
