A cultural tour of Turkey

Turkey is the world's richest affordable destination. Classical Turkey is an artistically designed 10 days program that covers the best of Western Turkey. We start with the historical city of Constantinople - or todays Istanbul and cover the most well known culturally and  historical places like Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Kusadasi and Cannakale - all in lsuirely paced journey. With over 2 departures a month, this tour is probably the most flexible and a good value for your money.

Day 01: Istanbul
Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative before transfer to your Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Check in time starts at 1500 hrs.
Overnight: Titanic City Hotel (2 nights)

Day 02: Istanbul
After breakfast we head out to visit Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. (B)

Day 03: Cappadocia
After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake, we will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay. Optional night tour with a Turkish show is available tonight.

Day 04: Cappadocia
Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. Then, full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Oztanik Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries. (B, D)

Day 05: Pamukkale
Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival in Konya. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, we continue our drive to Pamukkale,
Overnight: Lycus River Hotel (1 night) (B, D)

Day 06: Kusadasi
After breakfast, visit the ancient Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis, graveyard and the lime cascade. Thereafter, we continue our drive to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis ‘‘one of the seven wonders of the ancient world ‘’ then continue to Kusadasi.

Day 07: Kusadasi
Morning drive to Ancient city of Ephesus where we will visit its magnificent library, theater and temples. Then, we continue to Virgin Mary’s House. In the afternoon, exper?ence and participate in an upbeat fashion show showcas?ng the unique leather products manufactured in Turkey. (B, D)

Day 08: Canakkale
Early departure for Bergama to visit the Acropol with its well preserved remains before continuing to Troy; the site where the legendary Trojan War took place. Drive to Canakkale.
Overnight: Kolin Hotel (1 night) (B, D)

Day 09: Istanbul
After breakfast, we will cross the Dardanelles then continue to Gallipoli to visit Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine and 57th regiment memorial as well as the war museum. Arrival in Istanbul for an overnight stay.
Overnight: Novotel Hotel (1 night) (B)

Day 10: Istanbul
Breakfast. Check out time is by 1100 hrs. Transfer to airport for your flight out. (B)
