Day 01: Maun – Okavango Delta, Botswana
Upon arrival at Maun Airport you are cordially welcomed and assisted to your onward light-aircraft charter flight to Pom Pom Camp where you have some time to acclimatize before embarking on your first activity in the Okavango Delta. The Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the headwaters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. Depending on the time of arrival you will have your first game experience. The main building is attractively designed and constructed of thatch and canvas and comprises lounge, dining, bar and pool areas, as well as a gift shop and the boma area. Day 02: Okavango Delta, Botswana
Today is spent with activities offered by the camp. Pom Pom Camp has game drives, mokoro- and fishing excursions, as well as bush walks on offer. The Okavango Delta is one of the last remaining unspoiled wilderness areas of Africa. The Delta is fed by the floodwaters of Central Africa and covers an area of some 16000 square kilometers. These waters fan out into the Okavango Delta forming a wetland system of beautiful palm-fringed channels, lagoons and islands that support a wealth of fauna and flora alike. (B, L, D)

Days 03 & 04: Okavango Delta / Maun / Chobe National Park, Botswana
After a last morning activity and a hearty breakfast, you board your light aircraft and fly to Kasane; also known as the gateway to the Chobe National Park. Upon arrival at Kasane, you are welcomed and transferred to your lodge. During the next two days you enjoy two game drives and one boat cruise. During the boat cruise on the Chobe River, you will be able to watch elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles and a variety of birds and more without having to reach for your binoculars – you’ll be near enough for real close-up photographs. The game drives are generally scheduled in the morning for optimal game viewing. The set up at the Chobe Safari lodge is very casual and you may pick your own timing for the different activities. Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of Chobe River and sharing a border with Chobe National Park. Right on the lodges doorstep four African countries meet (Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi. The newest additions to Chobe are the 46 safari rooms. Individually decorated, they offer every comfort. Each safari room affords our guests the luxury of air-conditioning, luxurious en-suite bath and shower facilities, as well as satellite TV, and telephone. The Safari rooms enjoy expansive lawns which form the banks of the Chobe River. Each room has its own patio that gives one the privacy of enjoying views of the river from the comfort of your own room. The rooms are also in close proximity to the main complex. Along with many species of big game, Chobe National Park boasts the largest concentration of elephant in Africa, and our game drives and boat cruises offer visitors the opportunity to witness this amazing spectacle.

Day 05: Chobe / Kasane departure
Depending on your departure flight timing, you will be transferred to Kasane Airport for your onward journey. Ideal opportunity to extend the Wings Over Botswana experience with a visit to the world heritage sites of Victoria Falls and the Table Mountain in Cape Town. (B)
