Egyptian desert life is where the rural culture is still living. Often missed out by most tourists the Bahareya offers both the Black and White Deserts of Egypt. This 11 days journeys covers the most important sites in Egypt that are never to be missed like Cairo and pyramids, Nile and the ancient Temples as well as an experience of the Bahareya Desert of Egypt. With two departures a week this tour can be timed to suite your schedules and preferences.

Day 01: Sat/Mon, Cairo (EGYPT)
Arrive Cairo International Airport. Meet & assist by our local representative through customs formalities .
Transfer to Pyramisa Hotel. Check in at hotel.
Overnight: Safir Hotel Cairo.

Day 02: Sun/Tue, Cairo
09:00 A.M. Pick up from hotel & meet your guide. Full day tour in Cairo to visit the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx & the Egyptian Museum.
17:00 P.M. Transfer back to hotel. In the evening suggest an OPTIONAL sound & light show or Nile Cruise dinner.

Day 03: Mon/Wed, Cairo / Bahareya Oasis
09:00 A.M. Pick up from hotel & meet your guide. Road transfer from Cairo to Bahareya Oasis via the desert. 13:00 p.m. Arrive Bahareya Oasis. Check in at Qasr El Bawiti Hotel. P.M. Tour city of Bahareya including the Museum, the funerary temple of Baouiti, tombs of Bannenteoui & Zed Amoun IWF Ankh, temple of Alexander the Great & Temple of Bess. After the tour enjoy a bath in a hot water spring.

Day 04: Tue/Thu, Bahareya Oasis / Black Desert / White Desert
A.M. Road transfer by 4-wheel drive to the Black Desert. Visit the Black Desert with its volcanic remains and then continue to White desert to view its limestone formations and visit the famous Crystal Mountain.
Overnight: Tented camp – White Desert. (B, L, D)

Day 05: Wed/Fri, White Desert / Cairo
A.M. Road transfer back from the White Desert to Cairo. Arrive Cairo after 4 hours. Check in at Pyramisa Hotel. P.M. optional visit to Al Azhar Park including dinner @ $85 per person (min 2 persons)

Day 06: Thu/Sat, Cairo / Luxor
A.M. Transfer from hotel to Cairo Domestic Airport for a morning flight to Luxor. Arrive Luxor airport. Meet & assist by our local representative. Transfer to Sheraton Luxor Hotel.
A.M. Visit the West Bank (valley of the kings, temple of queen Hatshepsut & Colossi of Memnon). P.M. Visit the East Bank (Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple).
Overnight: Mercure Luxor Hotel(Standard Room). (B)

Day 07: Fri/Sun, Luxor / Dendera / Luxor
06:30 A.M. Pick up from hotel & transfer to M/S Le Lotus Boat for a day sailing trip to Dendera. 07:00 A.M. Boat will precede with sailing north towards Quena. 11:00 A.M. Arrive Quena. Bus transfer to Dendera Temple. Guided tour of Dendera Temple.
13:00 P.M. Bus transfer back to the boat & proceed with sailing south back to Luxor. Open buffet lunch is served while sailing. 16:00 P.M. High tea is served on the sundeck during “sunset” hour.
19:00 P.M. Boat arrives Luxor. Transfer back to hotel.

Day 08: Sat/Mon, Luxor / Aswan
06:30 A.M. Pick up from hotel. 07:00 A.M. Road transfer from Luxor to Aswan including the visit of Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple en route.
13:00 P.M. Arrive Aswan. Transfer to Pyramisa Isis Island Hotel. Check in at hotel. P.M. Visit Nubian Village & Botanical Garden by felucca.
Overnight: Basma Hotel. (B)

Day 09: Sun/Tue, Aswan
A.M. Visit Temple of Philae. P.M. Visit the Nubian Museum.
Overnight: Basma Hotel. (B)

Day 10: Mon/Wed, Aswan / Cairo
A.M. Free time. Suggest an OPTIONAL tour to Abu Simbel by flight.
P.M. Transfer to Aswan Airport for an afternoon flight to Cairo.
Arrive Cairo Domestic Airport. Meet & assist by our local representative.
Transfer to Pyramisa Hotel. Check in at hotel.
Overnight: Safir Hotel Cairo (B)

Day 11: Tue/Thu, Cairo / Departure
A.M. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure. (B)
